KEY STAGE 4

PATHWAYS

  • Having experienced a broad and outward facing curriculum at Key Stage 3, come February in year 9, students are ready to engage in pathways discussions that shape their key stage 4. Timetabling and staff recruitment are based on entirely on the interests and aspirations of our learners; they are not asked to select options from blocks, but instead they shape a curriculum driven by their future destinations. Each faculty area, therefore, has become skilled at increasing curriculum offers each year and selecting qualifications that will best engage our students and prepare them for post 16.
