Key Stage 4

PATHWAYS

Having experienced a broad- and outward-facing curriculum at KS3, in February in year 9, our students are ready to engage in pathways discussions that shape their KS4. Timetabling and staff recruitment are based entirely on the interests and aspirations of our learners; they are not asked to select options from blocks, instead they shape a curriculum driven by their future destinations. Each faculty area, therefore, has become skilled at increasing the curriculum offers each year and selecting qualifications that will best engage our students and prepare them for post-16.
