Year 7 Books!

Year 7s will read various books throughout the year and engage with many different tasks such as writing creatively, writing for different audiences, speaking and listening and drama activities. 

They will read ‘Holes’ whilst completing the 'Crime and Punishment' topic. 

‘A Monster Calls’ is part of a unit exploring Loss. 

‘The Tempest’ is part of our unit on Island Living. 

Other units undertaken are 'Journeys' and 'The Greek Heroes'. Lisa reads Julia Donaldson's 'The Snail and the Whale' as part of the 'Journeys' topic - have a watch of the video!
